Baltimore Liberty applique quilt pattern set designed by Pearl P. Pereira for P3 Designs. Pearl's inspiration for this quilt came from Baltimore Album quilts made in Baltimore between 1846 and 1852.
The quilt pattern set contains all thirteen patterns. A 24-inch center Liberty Wreath Statue of Liberty block is surrounded by twelve 12-inch album-style blocks featuring stars, stripes, flags, firecrackers and more. The quilt border has a star and scalloped applique.
The pattern contains suggested fabrics and a layout guide for full size pattern pieces. There are some basic instructions for assembling the applique using Pearl's Quick and Easy Applique Techniques. You may also assemble using the Fusible Raw Edge applique method and Machine Sew. Optional button embellishments sold separately.
This pattern is not for the beginner quilter.
