This is a once a year custom special order fabric issued each May. Yardage is sent as one continuous piece of fabric. 

Humpback whales are known for magical songs that can be heard great distances through the world's oceans. Complex sequences of moans, howls, cries, and other noises often continue for hours on end. While mature whales are loud, humpback calves are know to "whisper" to their mothers.
