Northern Flora five block wall hanging applique quilt kit by Wildfire Designs Alaska designed by Dana Michelle. The kit includes all fabrics for the five block quilt top and the pattern book. All kits are packaged by Wildfire Designs Alaska with all fabrics stored in a reusable vinyl bag, great for safekeeping your project.
The featured wall hanging flower blocks in this kit are fireweed, forget me not, blueberry, wild rose and lupine. The close up images of each block show the blocks using their original batik print borders as designed for shop hop. The prints have been updated in the book and in currently available kits, however, all solid background and flora hand-dye colors remain the same as the original.
The Northern Flora applique pattern book has all 21 blocks with easy to understand instructions. A complete applique garden in one pattern book and no curved piecing! The book includes the instructions and appliques for the quilt and table runner, plus additional instructions for making a pillow, single-block wall hanging and five-block wall hanging using the flora block designs.
Wildfire Designs Alaska patterns are designed for fusible applique, so I recommend that you use an Applique Pressing Sheet. All the featured fabrics are Hoffman California International Fabrics #1895 Bali Hand-Dyes and Bali Batiks.
The pattern book contains a materials list, layout guide, full size pattern pieces for all the blocks, and instructions for all variations. This is not a pre-cut laser kit.
