P3 Designs American Album Quilt Block 4 for Montana P3-2004

American Album Quilt Block 4 for the state of Montana. Pattern from P3 Designs designed by Pearl P. Pereira.

Choose individual American Album State Blocks to create your own Baltimore style quilt! Pearl has created a quilt block for each state. An example American Album Quilt using the floral swag border block is shown in the second photo.

The state€™s name is derived from the Spanish word montaña (mountain). Montana entered the Union November 08, 1889.  Montana has several nicknames, none official, €œThe Treasure State€? and €œBig Sky Country€?, and slogans that include €œLand of the Shining Mountains€? and more recently, €œThe Last Best Place€?. The western meadowlark is the official state bird of Montana, flower Bitterroot, the tree Ponderosa Pine and animal Grizzly Bear.

The love for Baltimore Album Quilts made during the 1800€™s was the inspiration for the American Album Quilt Blocks. Each new 15€? realistic album style block is filled with flowers, birds and a little American history. Each pattern includes full size numbered pattern with embroidery instructions and Pearl€™s Easy Appliqué Techniques. You may also assemble using the Fusible Raw Edge applique method and Machine Sew.
